Heritage Insures was conceived in 2018, following a conversation between David Harris, Chairman of Heritage Finance Holdings, and his good friend, Dr. Samuel C. Tolbert, Jr., President of the National Baptist Convention of America International, Inc. (NBCA) — a Convention presiding over 5,000+ churches and 3.5+ million members. Dr. Tolbert desired a solution to positively impact the financial future of members in the pews, each local church, and the NBCA Convention itself.
Mr. Harris met with key Convention stakeholders to collect input and researched various financial options, finally recommending "insurance products" as the most viable solution to meet the needs of all involved. He believed major insurance companies would work with an Independent Marketing Organization (IMO) that brings access to a National Convention with literally thousands of influential church pastors and millions of members.
Based on this concept, Heritage Insures was established as a subsidiary of Heritage Finance Holdings — a privately owned investment firm that specializes in identifying, researching, and executing investment strategies on behalf of institutional investors and high-net-worth individuals. Today, Heritage has a comprehensive Kingdom Stewardship Network of services that empowers churches and nonprofit organizations to strengthen their financial future. Through a strategic portfolio of stewardship resources — including Life Insurance, Retirement Planning, Wealth-Building Solutions (Mutual Funds and Annuities), Medicare Advantage Programs, Church Property & Casualty Insurance, Endowment Fund Solutions, and Legacy Giving Strategies — Heritage Insures helps churches protect their legacy, support their members, equip their leaders, and create lasting impact within the communities they serve.

David Harris
Chairman & CEO
David Harris serves as Chairman & CEO of Heritage Insures. David is a dynamic entrepreneur and innovative business strategist who has created successful enterprises in industries ranging from staffing to retail to facilities management to technology. He has been well served by his talent for envisioning marketable concepts and developing them into viable commercial entities. Harris brings over 40 years of experience in managing profitable businesses with a national footprint. Prior to founding Heritage, Harris founded and managed BestStaff, the largest minority-owned personnel staffing firm in the South with offices in Houston, Dallas, Beaumont, Orlando, Atlanta, and Baltimore. He co-founded and served as Chairman of the Board for BTS Team, one of America's largest property management firms, managing over 10,000 properties in 15 states for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
Dannin Harris
President, Heritage Insures
Dannin Harris brings a diverse background in sales, marketing, and customer service to high-net-worth individuals with over a decade of experience successfully managing his own independent luxury automobile dealership. Since joining Heritage in 2018, Harris has focused on providing specialized insurance and financial products to Non-Profit and Faith Based Organizations with the goal of growing the company into a nationwide Independent Marketing Organization. Dannin is licensed to sell Life/Health and Property/Casualty Insurance. A graduate of a Historically Black College (HBCU), Dannin understands the importance of maximizing the effectiveness of organizational resources, focusing on provision of world-class customer service, and service to his community. Dannin's unique perspective and experience allow him to offer a well-rounded and comprehensive approach to management of the company.
Winfred Frazier
Chief Operating Officer / CFO
Winfred Frazier serves as the Chief Operating Officer/CFO for Heritage Insures and is responsible for management of the day-to-day administrative operations. Mr. Frazier is also responsible for overseeing the Finance and Accounting Divisions and ensuring that the company's financial reports are accurate and completed in a timely manner. Winfred brings 30+ years of service in the Insurance and Financial industries and is licensed in both insurance and securities. He consults globally to both for-profit and non-profit organizations and is a recognized leader in his field.
John Wesley White
Chief of Staff & Director of Contracting
John Wesley White is Chief of Staff and serves as the primary advisor to both the CEO and President on operational and financial matters. Mr. White performs discreet tasks and projects on their behalf and responds to inquiries on behalf of the CEO. He also provides department heads with expert advice to enhance the overall efficiency of the organization and guides development of the Strategic Plan. John brings 30+ years of diverse public and private sector global business management experience supporting multi-billion-dollar infrastructure construction projects and global manufacturing facilities. He previously served as Vice President, Procurement & Materials Management, for Dallas/Ft. Worth International Airport, the third largest and second busiest passenger airport in the world, and in Silicon Valley as Deputy Director/Chief Procurement Officer for Valley Transportation Authority.
